Questions parents ask us

Everything families usually want to know before booking. Can’t see your question? Contact directly.

Are your tutors DBS-checked?

Yes. Every ResolveIt tutor is DBS-checked.

How much does tuition cost?

ResolveIt isn’t the cheapest option, and it isn’t hourly tutoring. Your child joins a complete programme: two live lessons a week, extra drop-in sessions, every lesson recorded, regular mock tests and direct access to our academic team. We talk you through the options and fees on the Discovery Call, with no obligation.

Why small groups rather than one-to-one?

Our groups are ability-matched, so your child learns at exactly the right pace alongside peers with the same goal. They benefit from others’ questions, stay accountable to a consistent timetable, and get more weekly contact than a typical one-to-one lesson.

How quickly will we see results?

Most parents notice a change in confidence within weeks. Of students who stay with us for six months, 90% reach their target grade — and regular mock assessments mean you can see the progress clearly, rather than take it on trust.

What if my child misses a lesson?

No problem at all. The recording is available straight away, the next drop-in covers any gaps, and messaging support is always open.

What actually happens on a Discovery Call?

A calm, no-pressure conversation about your child’s goals, led by a senior member of our team. We assess where your child is, explain how we’d help, and recommend the right group — or tell you honestly if we’re not the right fit.

Which year groups do you teach?

Year 10, 11, 12 and 13.

How many students are in each group?

Small groups, capped at six students, matched by ability and target grade.

When are lessons?

Lessons run live online on weekday evenings from 6pm, with weekend support. Every lesson is recorded.

What about my child’s exam board?

We teach Edexcel, AQA and OCR. Tell us your child’s exam board on the Discovery Call and we will explain how we would place and support them.
